Emily Forman is the Senior Producer of Precious Lives – an ongoing radio series about gun violence in Milwaukee. Stories air weekly on WUWM. Prior to 371 Emily worked at KCAW in Sitka, Alaska where she reported on a range of stories, including Native American fishing traditions, scientific discoveries about ice age goats, and the unlikely path of Alaska’s newest Orthodox bishop. Her work has also aired on NPR and Alaska Public Radio Network. Emily was trained in documentary radio production at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine. She graduated from Colby College with a BA in Economics.
