Jose Lozano was born in Venezuela, but moved to Wisconsin at a young age, so that his family could purse the American dream. He is currently pursuing a BFA in Filmmaking at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. At 371 Productions, Jose is getting a start on documentary filmmaking as he assists the team with several media productions.
When he was 15 he began working with a social justice organization called Esther. Jose is passionate about conquering issues of systematic oppression and covert racism that thrive on xenophobia and class exploitation. After graduation, he plans on helping produce films that showcase the beauties of human diversity and the value of human life, while also denouncing social injustices.
In his free time, Jose loves to go long-boarding with friends, work on crafts or art projects, and read about the human condition.
