We are editing a documentary that will tell the story of how playwright Anne Basting and Sojourn Theater created “Finding Penelope”, a play staged in a nursing home that included residents and professional actors interpreting The Odyssey as told from Penelope’s point of view. It’s about the heroics of waiting and it’s about aging. University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee students, instructors, Luther Manor staff and Soujourn Theater’s professional actors collaborated in making the project.
